Detailed Itinerary
Day Zero: Arrival
Day One: Orientation
After being received at the airport and transferred the Rustic's office, you will be given an orientation. The briefing will cover important issues. So please pay good attention. You will be advised about health and safety issues, provided with information on host family, told about the climate, and you will be informed about your project work and if there are any changes in the tour itinerary. Immediately after the orientation, you will get a chance to visit a local village.
Day Two - Twelve: Volunteer Work
You will start your project work. You will mostly work in an orphanage and help look after destitute and orphaned children. Provide the children with plenty of care and love and try to nurture their talents. Specific work will include, cleaning the children, changing their clothes, cleaning their room and their bed, making sure they are well fed, teaching English and any other creative games you might know. The orphanage staff will be around to assist you.
Day Twelve - Fourteen: Explore Uganda
Day Twelve: Kampala Tour
Tour fascinating sights in Uganda's capital city. Among many things in the today's tour itinerary is the visit to Kasbui Tomb. There you will learn about Buganda Kingdom and its culture and tradition. Namirembe, Rubaga Cathedral and Kibuli mosque are also fascinating places that are included in the tour. You will also visit a craft market. After a busy day of tour, relax in the evening with witnessing Ugandan dance, culture and entertainment at Ndere Culture center.
Overnight stay will be at home base, where breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided.

Day Thirteen: Mabira Forest, walking and visit the Source of Nile
The tour shifts from an urban landscape to forested area. You will visit Mabira forest today, one of Uganda's largest surviving Natural Forest. Get up early and enjoy breakfast before driving the Mabira Forest. The Forest is known for large species of bird, thought to number 315, butterflies, moths, mammals, especially the primate species of monkey clan. The spectacular Griffin Falls is also part of Mabira Forest.
You will take part in forest walk and cover about 9 km in 4 hours of peaceful walk. Following that, you will proceed to Jinja. Visit Nalubale Dam (Owen Falls) and reach the source of Nile. Spend about 45 minutes on a boat exploring the beauty of the area. Return to home base after that for overnight stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided.
Day Fourteen: White Water Rafting (25kms)
Travel to Jinja and spend a day rafting in Nile in what many people have described as one of their best rafting experiences. Awesome is the world many regularly describe their experience as. A buffet lunch at Adrift's private island is included in the day's schedule. A complimentary beer and soda will be offer before traveling back to home base in Kampala. Dinner, lunch and breakfast provided.
