Volunteer and Travel Tour in Sri Lanka

Work in Orphanage
Trip code: LKA1

Sri Lanka is a developing nation that has been hit hard by the civil war. The conflict and the poverty have left many children orphan and they struggle to survive without their parents. There is no government help for the orphaned children and they have to rely on orphanages to provide them with a home and security. The orphanages however aren’t well funded and they’re most understaffed. They have to solely rely on donations from abroad. Rustic Volunteer and Travel is attempting to help the orphanages by asking volunteers to join our work in orphanage program in Sri Lanka. Through your work and program fee, the orphanages can stay afloat and the children can have a bright future ahead.

Project/Volunteer's Life:

As a volunteer in Sri Lanka working for orphanage, you’ll be involved in many activities that will raise the moral of the children, make them confident and make them able to dream of a better future. You’ll teach the children, mainly improving their English and make them finish their homework. You’ll take care of them by making sure they sleep well, are well washed and cleaned and are fed well. You’ll also teach them nursery rhymes, play with them all kinds of games and tell them stories. All this will make them feel loved and give them the confidence to work hard to have a better future.

Skills and Qualification
