Peru Conservation ProjectJoin the safari and see gigantic elephants in the hundreds. Encounter also wild animals like rhinos, lions, buffalos, leopards, southern right whales and great white sharks. The Addo Elephant National Park became a protected area in 1931 when the government was hell bent on wiping out the elephants. Today, the elephants have not only survived, they have flourished in the park.

Detailed Itinerary

Day One: Port Elizabeth to Schotia Safaris
Travel to Schotia Safaris after being picked up from Port Elizabeth. In the afternoon or evening, you will leave for Schotia Tooth & Claw safari after completing the registration. On the park, be involved in one of the best safaris. See antelope, zebra, ostrich, crocodile, rhino, giraffe and even the nocturnal animals such as lions & hippos.

Enjoy dinner in the evening and enjoy delicious safari cuisine. You’ll enjoy coffee by the fire. Following that, your ranger will take you for a short drive to your lodge. Sleep in a comfortable bed listening to African bush come alive at night.

Day Two: Addo Elephant National Park
Kick your morning into gear with a pre-breakfast drive. Search of more animals and also start to look at some of the smaller details that make the bush work in. After a hearty breakfast, change vehicles and leave for Addo Elephant National Park. The morning is spent searching for and viewing elephants before eating a wholesome lunch at a local farm-stall restaurant and returning to Schotia. In the evening, you can either take another game drive for some beautiful photo opportunities or you can just relax at camp for the night.

Day Three: More Game Viewing, Port Elizabeth
Last morning starts with the final game viewing with your experience ranger. You will wake up early and enjoy breakfast before the viewing. Spot animals you’ve missed and get soaked into the atmosphere of the park as you will soon leave the surrounding.

You will be transferred to Port Elizabeth to end the tour.
