The project aims to reach the destitute women and help them rebuild their self esteem to lead a life with their heads held high. You’ll teach the women English, inform them about proper health and sanitation practices, and help impart them skills like stitching & tailoring. Many of these women's support programs need assistance in proposal and report writing along with administration.

You do not need to have any skills and qualifications other than the passion to improve the lives of poor and deprived women. You’ll learn many things during the project also. If you are flexible and patient you’ll cope better and successfully complete your project as working conditions and the mentality of the people will be very different from what you’re used to back home.

Rustic Volunteer and Travel will manage your accommodation and meal for you. You’ll live with the host family or in hostel or in a Home Base. You’ll have a clean and modest room as well as local meals three times a day. When living with a Host Family, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to learn about the lifestyle and culture of the local people. You’ll also have an access to our office in India and mobile number of our coordinators. Our staffs also visit volunteers in each 2-4 week interval as a part of the program. Women support projects are available in Delhi (capital city of India and home to Red Fort, Lotus Temple , Qutab Minar, Lodhi Gardens) , with shops, banks & internet cafes nearby. A pluralistic, multi-lingual, and multi-ethnic society, India is also home to a diversity of wildlife in a variety of protected habitats. It has managed to preserve established traditions while absorbing new customs, traditions, and ideas from invaders and immigrants.
