Street Children Project
 About 2000 families are living around the garbage dump in the capital of Guatemala. These children can be made victims through a number of exploitive calamities – starvation, inhuman labor, sex industry, starvation… just to name a few misfortunes. As a volunteer you can support the project ‘Camino Seguro´ (Safe Passage) & provide hundreds of children at the garbage dump with the skills, caring, support and supervision they need in order to lift themselves and their families from grinding poverty. Volunteers/travelers are sought out to lend not only your support and attention, but real-world skills, pertinent information regarding personal hygiene, proficiency in English. Volunteers/travelers can serve as a positive AND a motivating factor in these children's lives. Volunteers are often the driving force and shining example for the possibility of a brighter future for these deprived children.
