Hospitals and clinics located in the areas surrounding Costa Rica major cities lack the staff and resources needed. In effect, knowledgeable and able-bodied volunteers are in great demand. Volunteers' assistance is greatly and urgently needed in many areas. Rustic Volunteer Travel health projects provide volunteers with the chance to work in hospitals, clinics, and with special projects providing healthcare to disadvantaged and at-risk people in Costa Rica. Volunteers/travelers can have the rewarding opportunity to create hope among the sick and to assure them that they can live productive lives with good healthcare.
All volunteer programs start on the second and fourth Monday of each month.
