Orphanage/Children Home Trip code: BOL1
Under the volunteer in Bolivia program, volunteers can work in Children Home’s School that has about 600 children between the age group of 6 to 18. Project funds come from donations, and parents pay meager tuition fees for their children. Volunteers' assistance is greatly and urgently needed in many areas of this project. Presently, Rustic Volunteer Travel works in collaboration with children projects to focus on getting these children off the street, and providing them with shelter, food, and education. This program is the perfect place for volunteers looking for opportunities to share their love, passion, and skills with these very-unfortunate children.

| Project Locations: |
Children's Home projects are available in Santa Cruz (Andes Mountains , fa mously called the El Oriente by locals). Bolivia is celebrated for its famous mines and friendly yet diverse and protective culture. It's full of contrasts: from it Spanish influence style of architecture to the pre colonial period influence yet still has many of the amenities you would expect from a city. Volunteers can organize different possible excursions during and after the project to visit places of interest. There is a tourist infrastructure already in place the volunteer can use during weekends. For example: skiing, silver mines, hot springs, mountains, ecotourism, pink river dolphins, riverboat trips, lakes, city tours, arts, entertainment parks, museums festivals, restaurants, hotels, and many more.
