Volunteer Travel Argentina

Work in NGO- Community Development
Trip code: ARG4

Local partners provide much needed assistance to NGO’s of various sizes throughout Argentina. NGO’s are lacking operational expertise, and are in desperate need of capable and committed volunteers not only to work directly in their programs, but also to help them become stronger, more sustainable and better able to serve their communities. Advice in the fields of management, budgeting and human resources are needed on a daily basis.

To help Argentina’s local NGOs volunteer Argentina program recruits international volunteers and matches them with a project geared toward their interests and where their knowledge and skills can provide the maximum positive impact. Volunteers/travelers can put their knowledge to work helping real people and real programs thus gaining an unforgettable personal and professional experience. At the same time, they improve their Spanish and have the opportunity to be deeply immersed in the incredible culture of Argentina 's people

Project Locations:

Volunteer ArgentinaCommunity Involvement projects are available in Córdoba. As South America’s second largest country, Argentina is renowned for its heavily Italian and Spanish influenced culture, rich history of literature, Flora (subtropical plants) and fauna. Argentina's urban areas have a European look, reflecting the influence of European settlers as well as the traditional Spanish-grid style around a main square (plaza) However most of its cities offer most of the amenities you would expect from any city. Volunteers can organize different possible excursions during and after the project to visit places of interest. There is a tourist infrastructure already in place the volunteer can use during weekends. For example: architecture, museums, city tours, tango, sports, restaurants, art, folk music, festivals, hotels, and much more.
